The second part of the Museum's permanent exhibition stands as a testament to various aspects of daily life.

A life-sized hut from the early Middle Ages fully equipped with household paraphernalia and working tools.

 

The City Museum of Art

Gallery of Eminent Wroclawians

The idea was inspired by the antique Greek and Roman Custom of Sculpting Effigies of notable men such as kings, gods, philosophers and scientists.

The Jewelry Art of Wroclaw

Since 1992 the Duke's Hall in the Old Town Hall has been the home of a permanent exhibition of silver artifices destined for various purposes.

 

The Military Museum

The room of Firearms

An exposition of common firearms starting with some of the earliest known.

The Jacek Kijak room

The largest display of military helmets; mostly bestowed by Jacek Kijak of Warsaw. Professor Kijak is a renowned expert and collector of military helmets.

Polish Sidearms from the 17th to the 20th century

A display of 150 pieces of all types of polish swords (i.e. cutlasses, choppers) commonly employed by Polish troops.

The old weapons room

Since the Arsenal and the Military Museum share the same premises, they are able to put on a show of weaponry from all epochs, starting with Stone Age armaments.

 

The Museum of Cemetery Arts

The Old Jewish cemetery

The Museum of Cemetery Arts holds both the original and inimitable tombstone and the small architecture collection. Among tomb monuments one can distinguish small forms such as steles, columns, obelisks, stone tree trunks and sarcophaguses. Larger ones include mausoleum chapels, sepulchers in the forms of portico, portals, with canopy, etc.
